Lunch Time Theater provides audiences with an accessible and affordable opportunity to experience live theater. Each season, Lunch Time Theater showcases the work of emerging theater companies for one-act plays that last approximately 45 minutes.
Art Gallery
The Herberger Theater Center’s Art Gallery features the creative and inspiring work of Arizona artists. All artwork is for sale with a portion of the proceeds from each piece sold benefiting the Herberger Theater.
Festival of the Arts
Get a taste of the arts! The Festival of the Arts celebrates the arts in downtown Phoenix with performances, dance, food, visual art, live music, children’s activities, film shorts, pet adoptions and more.
Arizona Young Artists’ Competition
The Herberger Theater Center and Center Dance Ensemble recognize aspiring young performers between the ages of 15-19. Four finalists in the disciplines of Acting, Dance and Voice are selected by adjudicators from preliminary auditions. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the winner in each discipline at the final competition. In addition, Arizona Broadway Theatre provides the all-around performer with a $1,500 scholarship and opportunity to appear in a main stage production.
Become A Volunteer
The Herberger Theater Center depends on volunteers to staff all performances and assist with administrative functions. Ushers in the familiar black and white outfits are smiling, helpful individuals who welcome patrons to the theater, take their tickets, help them find their seats, and provide them with accessible hearing devices.
Hall of Fame
The Performing and Broadcast Arts Hall of Fame is presented by the Herberger Theater Center to honor an Arizona native or resident that has achieved national or international acclaim in the field of the performing arts and/or broadcast communications.
