Performance Pop-Ups

As part of our Community Showcase series, the Performance Pop-Ups are FREE outdoor presentations that celebrate the depth and variety of Arizona’s talent and provide high-quality music, dance, and theatrical programming in a safe and welcoming environment. The 60-minute performances are held on Saturday evenings from 6pm-7pm, showcasing artists and performances that are diverse and reflective of our community. The performances activate the outdoor areas of the theater through interactive opportunities that engage people who live, work, study and visit downtown Phoenix. Stop by for a unique experience!

Free Performance Pop-Ups Are Back!

This season, the Herberger Theater Center’s Performance Pop-Ups bring the energy, artistry, and many voices of our community to downtown Phoenix. Experience a vibrant glimpse into Diwali, a Hungarian vocal showcase, the bold sounds of Chicano music, the graceful traditions of Odissi dance, and the soulful beats of jazz, hip-hop, and R&B. Experience the power of spoken word, the elegance of ballet, the wonder of circus arts, and so much more—all in one dynamic lineup celebrating Arizona’s artistic spirit.

As part of the Community Showcase series, these free, 60-minute outdoor performances invite everyone to experience high-quality music, dance, theater, and visual art in a welcoming setting. Come connect with neighbors, celebrate representation onstage, and discover something new each week.
