March 5, 2021 – 5:30pm: Girls on the Road
What do you get when you take the sweet, poignant essence of folk music, and put it in the hands of two keyboardist / arrangers with jazz, classical and R&B influences? GIRLS ON THE ROAD, the folktronica fusion duo of singer / songwriter / keyboardists Annie Moscow and Rachael Nicole Gold whose music draws on diverse influences ranging from Debussy, Charles Ives and The Beatles, to Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell and Bruce Hornsby. Moscow and Gold have collaborated on various recording and performing projects for over thirty years, including a stint as a children’s duo in the early 90s where they toured the country as Melonball Music and garnered three hits on national kids’ Radio Aaahs. They have also have composed music together for film, television and a variety of recording artists ranging from Sarah Vaughn to Sister Sledge to Mickey Mouse. Now back together again as performers, audiences will be thoroughly entertained with the unique, inventive sound and always evolving performance of GIRLS ON THE ROAD. Click here for more info.
