Health & Safety Protocols

The Herberger Theater Center remains strongly committed to the health and safety of everyone who comes to the theater as a guest, performer, volunteer or staff. We continue to carefully monitor the local and global situation regarding COVID-19 and review ongoing updates through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, and the Arizona Department of Health Services. With that information, we will continue to adapt our safety protocols in order to provide the safest experience for our guests, performers, staff, and volunteers. On May 5, 2023 the head of the UN World Health Organization (WHO) declared “with great hope” an end to COVID-19 as a public health emergency.

At this is time Associates and Guests are encouraged to follow best practices and take with them lessons learned through the COVID-19 pandemic: wash hands regularly with soap for 20 seconds, stay home when not feeling well and stay up to date on vaccinations. Aligning with our commitment to you, the Herberger Theater Center will keep Molekule brand air purifiers, which have been FDA-cleared as shown to destroy viruses and bacteria, in public lobby restrooms. Cleaning of high-touch surfaces will continue to take place during all events in addition to overnight sanitation. Guests are welcome to attend with or without a mask or face covering.

Please be advised: These health and safety protocols are in combination with all health and safety protocols chosen by the performing company of the show you attend and are subject to change.
