The story of the last Pochteca trader Kokopelli to visit our valley they called Aztlan, “Land of the Cranes.” Set in 13th Century Arizona, it tells of Aztlan’s fall and the birth of a new nation. It tells a story of the abandonment of our Valley of the Sun by the now called Hohokam (the vanished ones), caused by many years of devastating drought and invasion by warring tribes.
