The Herberger Theater Center and Live on Central present Activism & the Arts: A Life Journey, a talk by writer/producer/performer/activist, Dan Guerrero. Dan will discuss his travels through decades of Mexican-American/Chicano and LGBT history from a personal point of view. This presentation has been hailed for its portrayal of the interconnected lives of artists and activists who fueled the civil rights struggles of the past several decades.
Following the presentation and Q&A, there will be a panel discussion comprised of leaders in arts/activism/Latino and LGBT community, assembled by and including Dr. Neal Lester of ASU/Project Humanities, Jeffrey Lazos-Ferns, Dagoberto Bailon and Lauren Espinoza.
