Lunch Time Theater Performance Schedule

The Herberger Theater Center is proud to showcase the work of young, emerging theater companies in our Lunch Time Theater.

Join us in the Performance Outreach Theater at 12:10pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (see schedule for exact dates) for one-act plays lasting 30-45 minutes. Tickets are $6. Bring your lunch or pre-order a box lunch to be delivered by our caterer. Enter at Third Street and Van Buren underneath the canopy. Doors open at 11:40am. Tickets are available at the door.

There is a preview performance of each show on the Monday night of opening week unless otherwise noted. Shows begin at 7pm. Tickets are $3. Actors with headshots and resumes get in free.

We welcome all our wonderful patrons for Lunch Time Theater. We often sell out but there are 2 ways to absolutely guarantee a seat for our shows:

1. Pre-reserve for a group of 10 or more by contacting our Performance Outreach Department at (602) 254-7399 x106 or x104 (Pre-reserved/paid groups are let into the theater first).

2. Pre-order a lunch from our caterer. We make sure a seat is available for every pre-ordered lunch until 12:05. (see below)

Please call, fax, email or submit online lunch orders BEFORE 9am the day of the performance you are attending. NO lunch reservations will be taken after 9am on show day. Group orders are welcome. Coffea Cafe accepts cash or check. Payment will be taken when you pick up your lunch. Please specify any dietary restrictions. Menu includes selections of sandwiches, salads or pasta salad for $5.50 to $6.50. Pre-ordering your lunch guarantees your seat and a lunch until 12:05pm at which time we reserve the right to release your seat and lunch to a waiting patron.
