Dine locally and benefit the Herberger Theater Center! The Herberger Theater is now selling Phoenix Dining Cards for only $20!
Each deck contains 52 gift cards to dining establishments throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, with a total savings of over $500. Each card is good toward $10.00 off the food portion of a bill of $30.00 or more (excluding tax, tip, and alcohol). There are also two Wild Cards in the deck - one is redeemable for a free cupcake, the other a free pastry. With each deck purchased and with every card you use, you support great local restaurants while giving back to the Herberger Theater Center. Cards expire 12/31/12; NO blackout dates. The Herberger Theater Center receives $7.50 from each deck sold, with $1.00 benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

This lively study traces ten years in the life of a city, 1980-1990; a defining decade that saw Phoenix descend from boomtown to bust as the savings and loan crisis fractured its real estate market and the economy collapsed. These devastating events almost derailed the selfless efforts of a new group of urban leaders - led by Mallery, along with Gary Herberger, architect, businessman and philanthropist - who devoted a significant portion of their lives, often in the face of overwhelming odds, to make a place for the arts in downtown Phoenix.
