A Different Kind of Cinco de Mayo – Cinco de Artes
Tarra Lazos Creative is excited to collaborate with Lupita Medina-Villa and the Herberger Theater Center to present a celebration of contemporary Mexican culture for Cinco de Mayo. It has become tradition to see this date as an excuse for selling tequila shots and Margaritas, ignoring the beauty of a living, evolving contemporary Mexican and Mexican-American life. Through art, rhythm, song, and dance, we will truly rejoice in the beauty of a culture that surrounds and enriches us.
