A collaboration between the Herberger Theater Center and Arizona Opera to encourage participation in the staging and performance of the opera, “The Mini Elixir of Love”. Students will have an interactive experience with trained classical singers as they take on roles in the bilingual production. The program is targeted to sixth through eighth grade students.

Why: The Arizona Opera School Tour introduces children to the world of opera in their own school. Each fall the tour brings opera into schools across the state. Each tour presents a one-hour long production complete with professional singers, accompanist, piano, sets and costumes.

Sponsorship funding will provide support for the program, including use of the theater space and technical needs.
